HEY, My name is Lucy and I am the proud owner of Lulus Pooch Parlour.
Since my childhood dogs have been an important part of my life, they have been in my world since I came into it. I grew up as a toddler with a black Labrador called Sammy, who was my everything! We got up to so much trouble together including the time we teamed up to pull the tablecloth down getting covered in food in the process!
I then moved to Australia with my parents for just over a year where a Cocker Spaniel called Lucky came into our lives. He was my absolute best friend, I did everything with him. Walks, Swimming, Surfing, you name it we did it together. When we moved back from Australia to England he came with us on his own little plane.
I now have my own little family in Alfie, a Cockapoo, and Winston, a Sproodle. They are the reason I get up every day and were the inspiration for starting Lulus Pooch Parlour. My Sproodle Winston is a lockdown dog and unfortunately has a lot of separation anxiety. I got really upset taking him to the groomers and him cowering in fear each time. We finally found the perfect groomer but unfortunately she moved away. That’s when the seed was planted, who better to give him the care and attention in a groom than his PAW-rent!
Since I was 16 I had been working 9-5 office jobs but my dream was to work with animals. One day I woke up and decided to quit my job, LITERALLY THAT DAY!! Fast forward a week, I had started training to be a dog groomer! Once I had achieved my City & Guild qualification I established Lulus Pooch Parlour and made my dream a reality!
Lulus Pooch Parlour is a professional, home based salon offering one to one grooming services.
My commitments to all owners who bring their dogs to Lulus are that:
Your dog will always have my undivided attention.
Your dog will get lots of kisses and cuddles.
Your dog will be treated like one of my own.
Your dog will come out looking and smelling amazing!
I love seeing the trans-FUR-mations and getting to know so many different doggies on a personal level.

**Prior to all grooms I check the dogs health and skin condition. checking for fleas, lumps, bumps, ticks, cuts and grazes. I will only proceed with the groom once I am fully satisfied the dog is in good health and it is safe to do so**

Lucy did a full groom & deshed for my German shepherd Luna, she came back looking like a completely different dog! Her hair had gotten so long & the fur in her pads were irritating her. Lucy was brilliant with Luna, she made her feel comfortable & Luna was clearly happy in her care. She is such a lovely down to earth bubbly person and wasn't bothered about how big Luna is like some groomers are. Will definitely be taking her here for regular grooms! Thank you

Took my 5 month older sprocker spaniel Monty to see Lucy today. This was his first groom and he came out a very happy dog and smelt amazing! Lucy was so good with him and will definitely be booking back in very soon! Would highly recommend!

My Skylar is a VERY anxious dog. I expected her to be muzzled as that’s what the vets do, but Lulu’s Pooch Parlour took the extra care, time and effort to get her comfortable enough to get her bathed and cut her claws which she doesn’t even let me do! and all without a muzzle! She is a friendly dog who wouldn’t usually bite but in anxious situations she can snap.
I honestly expected 10 minutes after dropping off her off that I’d get a call asking to pick her up and that they wouldn’t be able to do it. I’m incredibly shocked and will definitely 100% bring her back again
Super friendly and chatty person too during drop off/pick up. She put my mind at ease via messages + pictures throughout as well.
Freddie
Freddie my Cockapoo attended Lulu's Pooch Parlour yesterday. Lucy was so helpful and accommodating squeezing him in for this appointment. She was very friendly and welcoming on arrival making Freddie feel at ease.
The parlour looks amazing and Freddie came back looking so handsome after his groom and pamper session.
I can highly recommend Lulu's and we will definitely be returning here again with the added bonus of it being so close to home too, that we can walk there.
